Bionic Enhancements … Valkyrie’s legs, arms, hands, and feet have all received bionic enhancements up to and including the following. Strengthened joints, replacement of major muscles with biomechanical material, and reinforced bone structure.

Facial Features (Eyes, Mouth, etc.): Valkyrie’s features would hint at her being of European birth. Her long hair, kept in a braid that reaches her lower back, is platinum blonde. Her eyes are cold and hardened after years of being in the Shadow Guard, the icy blue color only adding to the effect. Like most European women, she has an overall attractive face, though she’s never actually been caught smiling. Her skin is also rather pale, lacking the normal peach tone most Americans are used to.

Clothing/Apparel: Valkyrie wears a special, advanced infantry suit, designed using quite a few layers of Kevlar compressed into armor. Effective at halting small-arms fire, it is even able to stop a knife from hitting anything vital. The suit is also skintight to allow for greater range of movement. Pouches on the thighs of the suit are large enough to accommodate her firearm and the ammo used for it. Her sword is kept in a sheath that is tied to a belt on her waist.

Personality: Valkyrie isn’t much of a talker. Whenever she’s sent out on a mission, she blocks out all unnecessary distractions which includes idle conversation and the media. If she needs to, she can be quite loud, especially when communicating with teammates. In truth, she has a soft and caring side that few people ever see. On missions, she has learned to suppress her emotions which she knows would interfere greatly in her work.

History: Valkyrie was born somewhere in Finland, abandoned by her parents when she was only a few years old. At the time, the terrorists were targeting the Finnish government for assisting the United States in their failing efforts in Iraq and the Middle East. When Finland didn’t respond to the terrorist’s demands, they struck, bombing a large train station and killing every last person they could find. Valkyrie, who had been living in the train station, had hid the whole time and came out into that scene of carnage after the terrorists fled. Shadow Guard operatives were the first on the scene and began cleaning up the mess when the found the six year old Valkyrie. This is likely how she earned her name, as she made her way from corpse to corpse, saying a little prayer as she did so. Not sure what the authorities might do with her, the Shadow Guard operatives took her with them, throwing her into their training program. She was enhanced with some of the most cutting-edge biomech enhancements available, along with rigorous and brutal training that would eventually help her when the Shadow Guard received word about the situation in New York. The NYC mission is Valkyrie’s first official one.

Additional Information: Valkyrie’s arm and leg enhancements provide her with nearly twice her normal strength and speed. Her stamina tends to drain a little faster, so her metabolism is incredibly high. These muscular enhancements also degenerate twice as fast.
