Biography:
Nefal Masala was a weapon forged with the powers of the dead Water God Ur in order to bring back his legacy. A man with no conscious then whatever the water’s tell him, Nefal Masala had almost no personality other than to his master, Ur.
It is said that Nefal Masala is not even the man’s real name. The best guess anybody can think of is that his name somehow derives itself from ancient Ur teachings and scriptures. So strong was Nefal Masala’s devotion to the dead god that his entire body was tattooed. The pain in his body was incomparable, and the outcome is forever scarred into his flesh. His body is mostly blue with strange white tribal markings overlapping it. Again, some say that this also a marking or a sign of Ur. On the island of Sarateth, Nefal Masala is only known as a “crazy man” and should not be approached.
As a young boy he grew up on the island of Sail Port and met many different merchants, telling stories of their journies sailing the seas. He was an apprentice to a shoe maker in one of the furthest towns to the east, and did this for most of his child and teenage life. Growing bored of sitting around on Sail Port and listening to these exciting stories, he stole a row boat from a merchant ship and started rowing in no direction inparticular. Whichever island or land he landed on would be a complete suprise and a great way to start a new life. It took him about a month before he could find any sort of land. Early one morning he landed on Sarateth.
Longing for food and shelter, Nefal Masala traveled for days and tried to look for anything he could find. After a few days of traveling on foot he found the temple, containing the Nine God’s in all of their glory. When he continued to look on the outside of the temple, he found another temple, but much smaller, as if one person had made it. It was covered thickly in vines and other overgrowing plants which Nefal Masala had to cut down. The temple led underground where small puddles of water covered the stone floors. On the sides of the temple were carvings of Ur, the Water God, and his epic battle with the other Nine Gods. It also showed everything ever known about Ur and his intentions for this world. Nefal Masala made this small and unknown temple his home and constantly looked to the carved walls for guidance and knowledge.
Learning all the dark truths from the dead god from long ago, Nefal Masala returns to the surface to try to resurrect the legacy of Ur. With the Turmesk Republic trying to gain power in the Theric archipelago, Nefal Masala knows that they will become a roadblock in his journey.
